Emirati military vehicle stolen in Shabwa

SHABWA, Dec. 11 (YPA) – A UAE military vehicle belonging to the Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia was stolen on Sunday in Shabwa province, eastern Yemen.

Local sources confirmed that members of the Emirati-funded “Shabwa Defense” militia stole a military vehicle and fled to Nissab area, west of the city of Ataq, the provincial capital of Shabwa.

The sources explained that sharp disputes broke out between the UAE-backed factions coming from Dhalea and Lahj, and the other militia from Shabwa, which caused the robbery of the military vehicle.

The incidents of escaping with Emirati military vehicles are frequent in the province.
