Al-Houthi reviews developments on national scene in meeting in Ibb

IBB, Dec. 04 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, headed on Saturday an extensive meeting held this evening in Ibb province, to discuss the province’s needs and developments on the national scene.

In the meeting, which included the governor of the province, Abdulwahed Salah, a number of members of the Shura Council, undersecretaries of the province, directors of executive offices and districts, social figures, sheikhs and dignitaries, Mohammed Houthi reviewed the developments on the national scene after eight years of aggression and siege.

Al-Houthi stressed that the hopes of the forces of aggression and mercenaries and their malicious plans were shattered in the face of the awareness and steadfastness of the Yemeni people.

He pointed out that the state of weakness and conflicts experienced by the aggression coalition and the mercenary factions made the free people of Yemen realize, consciously, that those have nothing but destruction and chaos for the Yemeni people.

Muhammad Ali al-Houthi explained that the true legitimacy of the steadfast Yemeni people who reject aggression and external interference is not for those who sold their homeland and pledged to the outside at the expense of an entire people and homeland and the blood of its sons.

“The aggression does not target Ansarullah alone, but rather targets all the people, segments and capabilities of Yemen, as it targeted markets, funeral halls, weddings, schools, roads, public facilities and other places and sites that belong to the Yemeni people,” he said.

The member of the Supreme Political Council warned against the consequences of obeying the trumpets of aggression and its media outlets that try to spread false rumors to serve the aggression forces and divert people’s attention from its crimes and malicious plans against the Yemeni people.

He called for providing people’s needs, resolving their issues, providing all possible services, and encouraging community initiatives in various aspects.

In turn, the governor of Ibb praised the visit of the member of the Supreme Political Council and his accompanying delegation to the province, noting that the people of Ibb made sacrifices and the best of its sons fell as martyrs.

The governor of Ibb appreciated the interest and keenness of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council in providing the needs of Ibb provinces and the service and development projects.
