Several militia members of STC wounded in Abyan

ABYAN, Nov. 28 (YPA) – Several militia members of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) were wounded on Monday in a bomb attack targeted their vehicle in Abyan province, southern Yemen.

Local sources said that an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded and targeted a military pickup vehicle, carrying STC’s elements in Al-Mahfad district, leaving some members critically injured.

This comes after eight militia members of the so-called “Security belt” were wounded by an improvised explosive device (IED)’a blast in the same district.

Attacks on the STC militia in Abyan province has escalated since it took control over the province and expulsion of  Islah forces, which were stationed in a number of its districts.
