BEIRUT, Aug. 17 (YPA) – The Israeli enemy army continued its attacks on several towns in southern Lebanon on Monday, targeting areas with artillery shelling and airstrikes, in continued violations of the ceasefire agreement.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that an enemy drone crashed in the outskirts of the town of Zibqin, while an airstrike targeted the town of Mansouri, which was also subjected to continuous shelling.
It added that the town of Zawtar al-Sharqiyah was subjected to artillery shelling, during which 7 shells fell, and a drone dropped explosive materials on the Dabsha area on the eastern outskirts of the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa.
In addition, the town of Aitaroun in the Bint Jbeil district was subjected to artillery shelling and machine gun fire.
Since March 2, the occupation has escalated its aggression against Lebanon, targeting towns, villages, and civilian infrastructure, resulting in thousands of martyrs and wounded, and the displacement of about 1.5 million Lebanese.
