Brazilian family converted to Islam in Qatar

WORLD, Nov. 25 (YPA) – A Brazilian family converted to Islam while in Doha, Qatar for the FIFA World Cup 2022, in an incident that gained great interaction in social media circles.

A video has been circulated on social media platforms, showing a Brazilian mother and her daughters wearing a scarf on her head.

In the video, which was widely circulated, one of the preachers asking the mother about their feeling, she said: “I do not know. It touching experience.”

Then he asked her daughter: “Did anyone force you or was it your choice? They answered: No one forced us to choose Islam.

In a subsequent scene, the preacher appeared to teach family members the two shahada, marking their conversion to Islam.

A few days ago, activist on social media circulated news that 558 people converted to Islam during the first week before the start of the World Cup matches in Qatar.
