ADEN, Nov. 20 (YPA) – Dozens of angry people demonstrated on Sunday in the city of Aden, south of Yemen, denouncing the collapse of the security situation in the UAE militia-held city.
In a protest rally, the protesters, who roamed the streets of Al-Tawahi and Sheikh Othman areas, condemned also the security chaos that has become a nightmare worrying the lives of the people and their children in the city, the latest of which was the exposure of the 14-year-old girl, Maha Mudhesh, who was kidnapped, raped, and murdered in the accused’s house last weekend in al-Tawahi area in the same city.
They called on the Saudi-led coalition and the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia, to quickly apprehend those involved in the murders, assassinations, and women kidnappers, and bring them to justice.
Aden is witnessing a security breakdown after the coalition forces took control of the city in the second half of 2015, when hundreds of mosque imams, military and security officers, and activists have been assassinated in various ways and means.
The coalition countries flooded the city of Aden and the rest of the southern cities with various types of hashish and drugs, to weaken Yemeni society and spread security chaos in those areas to achieve their economic and military interests.
