WORLD, Nov. 20 (YPA) – Maxim Timchenko, CEO of the Ukrainian energy holding DTEK, suggested that citizens should consider to leave the country for three to four months to reduce electricity consumption, RIA Novosti reported.
“If the residents can find an alternative place of residence for another three to four months, it will be very beneficial for the power grid. In particular, reducing electricity consumption will ensure that there is light in the hospitals that are saving our wounded soldiers,” he explained.
According to Timchenko, the departure of Ukrainians will help save electricity after the damage to the country’s power system due to Russian attacks.
