ADEN, Nov. 16 (YPA) – A leader in the Islah Party, (the Yemeni branch of Muslim Brotherhood) said that there is an international pressure to dissolve the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia.
The leader described the STC militia as unruly that plunged Aden into chaos.
“After Years of messing up in Aden city and bringing the city into a catastrophic situation by some uncontrolled forces. Today, when popular and international pressure has increased to make urgent solutions and control or demobilize those forces, we hear strange voices calling for their transfer to Hadramout and the eastern governorates under the pretext of liberation and suppression of Hadramis again and joining them in the south,” Saleh Batis said on his Facebook page.
This comes amid the STC’s mobilization of its militias to Hadramout in preparation for launching an attack on the command of the first military region loyal to “Islah” to control it.
