SANAA, Nov. 14 (YPA) – A Yemeni Airlines plane arrived on Monday from Jordan’s Queen Alia Airportto Sanaa airport for the first time at night, carrying 280 Yemeni passengers.
Minister of Transport, Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, confirmed that the landing of the plane in Sanaa airport at night confirmed its operational, technical and professional readiness after it closed in 2016.
The minister expressed in a statement his thanks to the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology for implementing the development plan for Sanaa International Airport after it was bombed by the coalition several times.
He pointed out that the plan came in preparation for receiving flights from different destinations to serve citizens traveling to several countries.
Al-Durra stated that the plan included the rehabilitation of the aviation field and the maintenance and lighting of the runway, so that night flights would be able to land and take off.
