Tons of expired foodstuffs destroyed in Amran

AMRAN, Nov. 07 (YPA) – Over two tons of expired foodstuffs had been seized during the field control campaign for the past two weeks in Amran province.

During the destruction, Director General of the Industry and Trade Office, Yahya Saleh Atifa, confirmed that the damaged and expired materials had been seized in many commercial stores in the province’s markets.

He stressed that the Industry Bureau would not tolerate taking legal measures against anyone who trades in expired and unusable materials.
