SANAA, Nov. 06 (YPA) – The Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC)’s Air Force announced on Saturday the successful launch of the “Qaem 100” satellite-carrying solid-fuel missile.
Mehr News Agency reported that the test was sponsored by Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, and in the presence of a group of armed forces commanders.
According to the agency, the solid-fueled rocket is capable of placing an 80-kg satellite into an orbit 500 km away in three solid-fuel stages.
