Cold weather to be expected to hit mountainous provinces

SANAA, Nov. 01(YPA) –The National Center of Meteorology is expected cool and dry weather in the mountainous provinces during the next 24 hours.

The Center stated in its weather bulletin on Tuesday that the skies would be cold in the provinces of Abyan, Lahj, Dhalea and Ibb, Bayda, Dhamar, Amran, Sanaa, Saada, Abyan, Lahj, Ibb.
According to the center, active to strong winds with speeds ranging between 20-30 knots over the entrance to Bab al-Mandab and the western Gulf of Aden.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere of the Socotra archipelago would be partly cloudy with the possibility of scattered rain, and the wind speed ranging between “08-18” knots.

It called on the elderly, children, the sick, and workers to take the necessary precautions to prevent cold weather.
