President Al-Mashat inspects final arrangements for collective wedding celebration in Sanaa

SANAA, Oct. 30 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Sunday inspected the final preparations and arrangements for the third collective wedding celebration of over 10,000 grooms and brides in the capital, Sanaa, on Monday.

During his visit to the square of the celebration, President Al-Mashat was briefed by Head of the General Authority for Zakat, Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nashtan, on the technical arrangements and efforts made by the Zakat Authority teams in charge of completing the preparations and arrangements to receive the grooms.

President Al-Mashat praised the level of equipment and organizational and technical arrangements, appreciating the large projects carried out by the Zakat Authority.

He explained that the largest collective wedding that the Zakat Authority prepares for comes in the context of major social treatments, including confronting the soft war and encouraging projects of purity and chastity.

In turn, the Head of the Zakat Authority confirmed that the achievements and projects of the Zakat Authority come as a result of the great support and attention of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council and its vigorous follow-up for the sake of the poor and needy throughout the provinces of the country.
