Armed attack targets first military region headquarter in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Oct. 29 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen attacked on Friday the command of the “first military district” in the city of Sayoun, the capital of Hadramout province.

According to local sources, unknown people riding a motorcycle threw a grenade at the main gate of the command of the first area loyal to Islah, and fled to an unknown destination.

The sources explained that the bomb exploded near the gate without mentioning any losses among the militants, indicating that the district command spotted the disruptive elements through surveillance cameras.

The attack on the gate of the “first military zone” came after the UAE incitement campaigns launched against Islah militants by “Southern Transitional” in Wadi Hadramout.
