Meteorologists expect cold, dry weather within coming hours

SANAA, Oct. 29 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected cold and dry weather in several Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

The center said, in its weather bulletin on Saturday, that the weather would be cold and dry in the provinces of Dhamar, Amran, Sanaa, Saada and Bayda, Abyan, Lahj, Ibb and Dhalea.

According to the center, the minimum temperatures in those governorates might range from 2 to 8 degrees Celsius.

“Winds are likely to be active to strong, with a speed of between 20-30 knots, in the southern Red Sea, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab and the western Gulf of Aden.”

The center warned the elderly, children, patients and workers during the night and early morning to take the necessary precautions to prevent cold weather.
