Tehran: Terrorist attack on religious shrine leaves 13 dead, others injured

TEHRAN, Oct. 26 (YPA) – At least 13 people were killed in terrorist attack at Shah Cheragh holy shrine in Shiraz, Iran on Wednesday, Iranian official websites reported.

Iranian television confirmed that “13 people were killed and 40 wounded” in the attack.

Al-Mayadeen TV reported that 15 people were killed and 40 wounded in a shooting attack on the Shah Charagh shrine in Shiraz, confirming the arrest of the attacker after he was wounded.

At 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday (October 26), three-armed people launched the attack at Shah Cheragh holy shrine in Shiraz, judiciary sources reported.

While the two attackers have been arrested, the third attacker is wanted, the report added.
