SANAA, Oct. 26 (YPA) – About 13 people were killed and 40 others wounded on Wednesday in an attack on a religious shrine in the southern Iranian city of Shiraz.
According to the Iranian TV, said the attack was carried out by three “terrorist” gunmen, and one of them was arrested.
The sources explained that “the armed men entered the city of Shiraz by car and opened fire on visitors and servants in the religious shrine.”
“The perpetrators of the terrorist attack on the Shiraz shrine are extremist terrorists of non-Iranian nationality,” they added.
