Pro-UAE commander killed in Abyan

ABYN, Oct. 23 (YPA) – About 4 members of the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia, including a commander, were killed on Sunday and others wounded in a new attack carried out in Abyan province, south of Yemen.

Local sources affirmed that unidentified persons targeted a military vehicle carrying a number of militia members, with an explosive device, in al-Mhafad district, killing the leader, Ali al-Mahawari, with 3 members of his bodyguards, and wounding others.
