Armed clashes leave wounded in Shehin outlet in Mahra

MAHRA, Oct. 20 (YPA) – A number of gunmen were injured on Thursday in clashes that broke out in the middle of Shehin outlet market in Mahra province, eastern Yemen, which is under control of coalition.

According to local sources, clashes broke out between the gunmen of Raafit and Zaabnut tribes, which led to the injury of two gunmen and the destruction of a car belonging to the militants due to dispute over a piece of land in the market.

Saudi Arabia and UAE have been working since the beginning of 2018 to deepen the differences between Mahra tribes, to establish full control over the province amid a local movement against the presence of foreign forces that control the airport of al-Ghayda.
