YGC’s plan within framework of national vision discussed
SANAA, Oct.18 (YPA) – Minister of Oil and Minerals Ahmed Daris headed on Tuesday a meeting held in Sanaa to discuss the national strategic plan of the Yemen Gas Company (YGC) within the framework of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state.
The meeting touched on the most prominent investment projects and activities included in the company’s plan for the next year.
The Deputy Executive Director of the company, Mohammed Al-Qudimi, reviewed a report on achievements within the framework of the program to replace damaged gas cylinders in a number of provinces, as well as maintenance work, in addition to the interventions carried out by the company to provide gas to citizens to alleviate their suffering as a result of the aggression and the siege.
Al-Qudimi pointed out the difficulties and obstacles facing the company’s activity and business.
The Minister of Oil and Minerals praised the company’s role and efforts in providing household gas to citizens and replacing damaged gas cylinders to preserve lives and property.
He ordered preparing feasibility studies for a number of investment projects for the company within the framework of the national vision plan, especially in the field of cylinder maintenance workshops.
