SANAA, Oct. 12 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology has warned citizens again of the relatively cold weather in the mountainous heights during the early morning hours.
In its weather bulletin on Wednesday, the center called on motorists to drive carefully on mountainous roads as a result of low horizontal visibility due to low cloud density or fog.
It stated that A clear to partly cloudy atmosphere would be expected, with scattered rains accompanied by thunderstorms, on parts of mountain heights in the provinces of Taiz, Ibb, Hajjah, Mahweet and Raymah, Abyan, Lahj, Dhalea, Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran and Saada.
Desert areas: The atmosphere would be awake in general, and the active winds working to stir up dust and sand.
Socotra Archipelago: Partly cloudy weather and the possibility of light rain might do, with maximum surface wind speed of 18 knots.
