Islah party pushes great efforts to disrupt extending UN truce: Southern leader

ADEN, Oct. 05 (YPA) – A southern leader affirmed on Wednesday that the Islah party has exerted great efforts to disrupt any agreement leading to the renewal of the UN-sponsored humanitarian and military truce in Yemen.

“The southerners benefited during the armistice, as they focused on fighting terrorism,” Waddah Ben Attia, a member of the Southern National Assembly, said on Twitter.

“On this basis, the Brotherhood is pushing not to extend the armistice with the aim of attacking the southern people and relieving pressure on their terrorist supporter,” he added.
