Saudi Arabia sentences blogger to 25 years imprisonment for opposing normalization with Zionism

RIYADH, Oct. 03 (YPA) – The Specialized Criminal Court in Riyadh has sentenced Saudi blogger Daoud Al-Ali to 25 years in prison for opposing the normalization of relations with the Zionist entity.

According to the European Saudi Organization for Human Rights, in a statement, the Specialized Criminal Court in Riyadh, which is the Court for Terrorism Crimes, issued a sentence of 25 years in prison for Al-Ali on charges related to his writings on Twitter.

The Saudi authorities are completing their series of injustice and harshening the provisions of all those who reject their projects and policies and this time, the role of blogger Daoud Al-Ali, who was arrested in 2020 for his activity on Twitter, comes in.

Al-Ali is known for his strong rejection of normalization with the Zionists, and he turned his Twitter account into a platform to criticize the policy of treason, advocating the Palestinian cause without fear.

The authorities do not seem to be reversing their appalling rulings against activists and anyone who dares to say no to what they want to establish as a fait accompli in the land of the Two Holy Mosques.
