Speaker of Parliament congratulates his Jordanian counterpart

SANAA, Sept. 29 (YPA) – The Speaker of Parliament, Yahya Ali al-Rai, sent a cable of congratulations to his counterpart of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Abdul Karim Faisal Al-Daghmi, and the brotherly Jordanian people on coming of the anniversary of the Prophet birth.

In the cable, the Speaker of Parliament expressed his wishes to his Jordanian counterpart good health, happiness and continued success in serving the Jordanian people, stressing the depth of relations and fraternal ties between the two countries and the brotherly peoples.

He also expressed his keenness to strengthen the bilateral and historical parliamentary relationship between the two countries, which requires work to develop it at all levels, in a way that serves the interests of the two countries.

Al-Ra’i pointed out in the telegram to the complaints of a number of Yemeni citizens from the mistreatment they receive by some of the operators of Amman airport and hospitals in the Jordanian capital, especially since they consider the kingdom their second country.

“We are confident that they do not represent a general trend in the Kingdom and that they are individual actions that we have not seen before in light of the close relations between our two countries”, he added.

Yahya Ali al-Rai added: “We look forward to the leadership of the kingdom to put an end to such actions and alert those concerned in outlets and hospitals not to repeat them in the future”.
