IRGC bombs targets in Iraq’s Kurdistan region

TEHRAN, Sept. 27 (YPA) –  During the past days,  Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has once again targeted and destroyed positions of terrorist groups operating near the country’s western borders in Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan region , Iranian media reported on Monday.

According to Tasnim news agency, the IRGC’s Ground Force launched the new round of artillery and drone attacks against terrorist bastions in northern Iraq on Monday morning.

It added that the IRGC units employed smart and precision-strike weapons during the operation, and pounded the gatherings, training camps and operations rooms of terrorist groups in the Iraqi Kurdistan region.

The development comes two days after the IRGC targeted terrorist bases in Kurdistan region after terrorists sought to ignite riot and unrest in Iran’s western border cities.
