Al-Akras: We call on the Palestinian Authority to stop chasing the resistance fighters

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 20 (YPA) – The arrest of the chaser Musab Ashtiyeh by Palestinian security bodies will blow up the situation in the face of those agencies that play roles to bless the Israeli occupation in fighting, besieging, arresting and killing the resistance fighters, said Maher al-Akhras, the leader in the Islamic Jihad movement in the occupied West Bank.

In a statement to “Palestine Today Agency”, he said  that the arrest of the pursuers and resisters, the latest of which was Musab Ashtiyeh by the security services, will have serious repercussions on the level of the general security situation.

“The city of Nablus after the arrest of Ashtiyeh has been witnessing clashes between resistance fighters and the security services, amid great anger from citizens over the arrest,” he added.

According to local sources, 3 citizens were injured by members of the security services that deployed military vehicles in Nablus to suppress demonstrators who came out to denounce the behavior of those elements that serve the occupation.
