Tehran says it has no preconditions for resuming talks with Saudi Arabia

TEHRAN, Sept. 13 (YPA) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed on Monday that Tehran does not have any preconditions in talks with Saudi Arabia.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, said in a weekly press briefing that his country would “respond appropriately to any constructive action by Saudi Arabia,” according to the local “Iran International” website.

In this context, Kanaani called on Riyadh to adopt a “constructive approach” to improve relations between the two countries.

Tehran said last month that the sixth round of postponed talks between Saudi Arabia and Iran in Baghdad would be held when conditions were right in Iraq.
