Israeli occupation military issues forced displacement orders for southern Lebanon villages

BEIRUT, May 02 (YPA) –Israeli occupation military issued evacuation orders early Saturday morning for residents of several villages in southern Lebanon.

In a statement, army spokesman Avichay Adraee urged residents of the villages of Qaaqaait al-Jisr, Adchit al-Shaqif, Jebchit, Ebba, Kfar Jouz, Harouf, al-Duwayr, Deir ez-Zahrani and Habboush to immediately leave these areas.

Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire on a daily basis, justifying its actions by claiming the “right to take necessary measures to defend itself against threats,” as it asserts.

“Israel” occupied areas in southern Lebanon, some of which have been under its control for decades, while others were seized during the 2023–2024 war.

During the current escalation, Israeli occupation forces have reportedly advanced up to 10 kilometers inside the southern border region.
