3 killed, 5 injured in tribal clashes in Marib

MARIB, Sept. 12 (YPA) – Eight militants were killed and injured in tribal confrontations at down of Monday morning, in Marib province, northeastern of Yemen .
This was reported b y Yemen New Portal, based on testimonies of local sources.
According to the sources, clashes broke out between Al Shabwan and Al Rashid Mounif in al-Hadhn area of Wadi Obaidah, east Marib city, against the backdrop of a revenge case.
Both sides used heavy weapons in the clashes, during which three people were killed and five others injured, the sources said.
The son of the Yemeni gas company’s director in Marib, Mohsen bin Hamad bin Wahit was among the dead, the sources explained.
The sources noted that the confrontations continued and both sides had reinforced amidst silence of the pro-Islah military and security forces.
