6 people injured due to clashes at shopping center in Istanbul

WORLD, Sept . 12 (YPA) – At least six people, including citizens of Azerbaijan and Iran, were injured in an armed clash in a shopping center in Istanbul, The Turkish Newspaper “Sabah” reported.

“There was a quarrel between two groups in a shopping center in Sariyer. The dispute escalated into a fight, and then the parties opened fire with pistols,” according to the newspaper.

One of the victims was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The cause of the incident is being investigated. Police and paramedics were deployed to the scene.

According to preliminary data, four Azerbaijanis, one Iranian citizen and one Turk were injured. At the same time, the Iranian citizen did not participate in the fight and shootout.
