Syria: Air transport through Aleppo International Airport resumed

DAMASCUS, Sept. 09 (YPA) – The Syrian Ministry of Transport announced the resumption of air transport through Aleppo International Airport as of today, the state-run Syrian News Agency (SANA) reported on Friday, citing the ministry’s statement.

“The staff of the General Organization for Civil Aviation, in cooperation with national companies, repaired the damage caused by the Israeli aggression that targeted the airport last Tuesday night “, The ministry said in a statement.

The statement called on the air carriers operating through the airport to return their flights as of this date, pointing out that the airport will work with all its capacity to serve passengers and airlines around the clock.

On Tuesday evening, Aleppo International Airport, had been targeted by Zionist air aggression with missiles, which led to material damage to the airport.
