ISIS claims responsibility for deadly Russian embassy attack in Kabul

WORLD, Sept. 06 (YPA) – The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing near the Russian embassy in the Afghan capital Kabul on Monday.

The group claimed responsibility for the attack on the Russian embassy in Kabul. The blast occurred when a Russian diplomat came out to the people queuing outside to call out the names of the candidates for a visa, Reuters reported, citing the group statement.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said two employees of the Russian embassy in Kabul were killed in a terrorist act earlier on Monday.
