Blast targets Iraqi telecommunications company Earthlink in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Sept. 05 (YPA) – An improvised explosive device exploded in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, Iraqi media reported citing security source on Monday.

According to the Alsumaria News, a homemade explosive device blew up near the Iraqi telecommunications company Earthlink building within the Al-Arsat in Karrada, central Baghdad.

The explosion did not result in injuries but damaged a wall in the targeted building, the sources said.

The security forces cordoned off the site and opened an investigation into the incident.
