Meteorology calls on citizens to take caution against low visibility

SANAA, Sept. 03 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology called on citizens to take caution against the decrease in the horizontal visibility on mountainous roads as a result of rain and low clouds.

In its weather bulletin on Saturday, the partly cloudy weather with the possibility of rain of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, would be expected on separate areas of the mountainous highlands of the provinces of Lahij, Taiz, Ibb, Al-Dhalea, Raymah, Amran, Mahweet and Hajjah as well as the western provinces of Dhamar and Sanaa, Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramout.
the center warned citizens in areas where rain expected from torrential flows in water ways and valleys.

It affirmed that the partly cloudy weather on Socotra Archipelago in general, with active winds reaching a maximum speed of 40 knots, disturbing the sea and high waves.
