SANAA, Sept. 03 (YPA) – Head of Sanaa’s negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul Salam, got on Saturday a phone call from Ali Asghar Khaji, Iranian Foreign Minister’s Senior Advisor for Special Political Affairs.
During the call, they discussed the latest developments related to the peace process in Yemen and the difficulties that prevent this from being achieved.
Mohammed Abdul Salam affirmed the desire of the Sanaa government to end the crisis and alleviate the suffering and pain of the Yemeni people, adding that the ceasefire is contingent on the other party fulfilling it obligations to end the siege and pay the salaries of employees.
Abdul Salam criticized the obstacles caused by the Saudi-led coalition, represented in the failure to fulfill the obligations of the armistice.
