5.3-magnitude earthquake hits off Socotra Island coast

SOCOTRA, Sept. 01 (YPA) – An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 Richter and a depth of 10 kilometers on Thursday struck off the Yemeni Socotra archipelago province and the coast of the Sultanate of Oman.

This comes less than 48 hours after a sea tremor measuring 4.6 Richter with a depth of 10 kilometers struck the same area.
