142 violations of UN-declared military, humanitarian truce recorded in Yemen

SANAA, Aug. 31 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 142 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Wednesday, citing a military source.

According to the military source, 31 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz, Hodeida, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea provinces and border fronts.

One breach was recorded by creation of combat fortifications in north of Hays district in Hodeida.

The source pointed out that one breach was recorded by a missile shelling at the army’s sites in east of Hays district Hodeida and another violation was recorded by gathering of military elements and vehicles in Al-Jarbin area of Jabal Habashi district in Taiz.

He also confirmed that 19 violations by artillery shelling were recorded at the army’s sites in Marib, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida and border fronts.

The source mentioned that an artillery bombardment attacked the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi, Malaa and Al-Rawdha areas of Marib, Haradh, Bani Hassan and Al-Mazraq areas of Hajjah, Al-Malaheedh, Al-Madafin and Razih districts of Saada.

The source pointed out that an artillery shelling targeted sites of the Yemeni army in north of Hays district in Hodeida, Maqbna area of Taiz, Al-Sabaia area of Wadi Jara in Jizan border province and in Jabal Al-Omdah of Najran region.

In addition, the source declared that 89 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida and border fronts.
