Explosions rock Ataq city

SHABWA, Aug. 31 (YPA) – Violent explosions have on Wednesday rocked the outskirts of the city of Ataq, the center of Shabwa province, southern Yemen.

Local sources said a violent explosion was clearly heard in the Nisab district west of Ataq, followed by an earthquake and simultaneous explosions.

It stated that the explosions were caused by underground explosions as part of mysterious excavations.

Some others sources confirmed that the source of the explosions took place near   the Murra camp, where Emirati forces are based. The explosions have been repeated recently  without knowing the reasons.
