Armed clashes erupt among coalition factions in Aden

ADEN, Aug. 29 (YPA) – Armed clashes erupted on Monday among the Saudi-led coalition forces in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.

Local media said that the clashes broke out between the militias of the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC), and other gunmen affiliated with a sheikh from Al-Dhalea province, in the Mansoura district.

According to the sources, two armed men were wounded in the clashes.

The city of Aden, which is under the control of the STC militia, has witnessed a terrifying security breakdown in recent days, in light of the escalation of conflicts between the coalition factions.
