The sources added that the main highway witnessed congestion of cars after the gunman named Taha al-Bakura killed the recruit after he told him to stop assaulting passengers and extortion.

According to the sources, Taha al-Bakura aimed his weapon and fired shots directly at Moath’s head, killing him instantly, in Dhabab area which had witnessing continuous cuts and closures of the road.

On the other hand, Armed clashes broke out on Saturday in the city of Taiz, which is under the control of Islah’s military forces.

Local sources said clashes broke out between security gunmen and others affiliated with Rafat al-Akash, who was shot dead Saturday by a security officer on Jamal Street, downtown.

The sources explained that the companions of Al-Akash pursued the security elements, which led to the outbreak of armed clashes between the two parties that lasted for more than 15 minutes.

Al-Akash is the son of a prominent military commander in the Islah forces, Nabil al-Akash, who was killed during clashes against Sanaa forces several years ago.

Security forces raided al-Akash’s house and killed his son, in a mysterious incident, reflecting the scale of the security collapse witnessed in Taiz in recent times, with the return of conflicts between the coalition factions.
