SANAA, Aug. 237 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal on Saturday recorded new decline against foreign currencies in the exchange shops in the provinces of Aden and Hadramout, where the price of one dollar reached 1,125 riyals.
Last Thursday, economists had warned citizens of fraud in the southern provinces by declining foreign exchange rates, as oil and gas revenues from the National Bank of Saudi Arabia did not reach the Central Bank of Aden, nor the Saudi deposit reached it.
Meanwhile, the riyal exchange rates maintained its stability in the areas under the National Salvation Government control at 559 riyals to the dollar.
The exchange rates of the Yemeni riyal against foreign currencies today, Saturday, 27 August 2022, are as follows:
Yemeni riyal exchange rates in Sanaa:
US dollar = purchase: 558 riyals, selling 559 riyals
The Saudi riyal = purchase: 149 riyals, selling: 148 riyals
UAE dirham = purchase: 148 riyals, selling: 149 riyals.
Yemeni riyal exchange rates in Aden and Hadramout:
US dollar = purchase: 1115 riyals, selling: 1125 riyals
Saudi riyal = purchase: 294 riyals, selling: 296 riyals
UAE dirham = purchase: 299 riyals, selling: 297 riyals.
