Protests in Hodeida condemn detention of fuel ships by coalition

HODEIDA, Aug. 26 (YPA) – The people of Hodeida province districts organized protest vigils after Friday prayers, denouncing the continuation of the siege and the detention of fuel ships by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition.

The participants in the vigils condemned the detention of the two mazut ships “Gold Eagle” and “Foss Power” in the Red Sea by the coalition countries.

Statements issued by the vigils confirmed that the temporary truce represents an opportunity for “the aggression coalition forces” to get out of their predicament and immediately respond to the advice of the revolution leader (Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi), warning against the continuation of the siege and the looting of the wealth of the Yemeni people.

The statements indicated that “the Yemeni people will not remain idly by and their silence will not last in the face of all these inhumane practices.”

They called on the missile and air forces to prepare to direct the most severe strikes against the capitals of “the aggression countries and to target US and Israeli interests and bases in these countries.”
