186 violations of UN-declared military, humanitarian truce recorded in Yemen

SANAA, Aug. 26 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 186 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Thursday, citing a military source.

According to the military source, 43 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz, Hodeida, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, Bayda provinces and border fronts.

The source declared that coalition’s mercenaries committed ten breaches by creation of combat fortifications in south of Al-Hanajir, Tabat Al-Alam, Mastour farm of Al-Jabalia area in Tuhayta district and in north and south of Hays district in Hodeida, in Al-Sauh, Al-Biqaa and Tabat Faris areas of Al-Talaah in Najran.

The source pointed out that three breaches included air strikes of coalition’s warplanes attacked citizens’ homes and army’s sites in Al-Aqroodh area of Taiz.

He also confirmed that 26 violations by artillery shelling were recorded at the army’s sites in Marib, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida and border fronts.

The source mentioned that an artillery bombardment attacked the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi, Al-Talaah, Al-Kasarah, Rawdhat Jahanm and Malaa areas of Marib, Haradh, Bani Hassan and Al-Mazraq areas of Hajjah.

The source pointed out that an artillery shelling targeted sites of the Yemeni army in north and east of Hays district in Hodeida, Maqbna area of Taiz, Wadi Jara of Jizan border province and in Jabal Al-Omdah of Najran region.

In addition, the source declared that 105 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida, Dhalea and border fronts.
