167 violations of UN-declared military, humanitarian truce recorded in Yemen

SANAA, Aug. 25 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 167 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Wednesday, citing a military source.

According to the military source, 38 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz, Hodeida, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, Bayda provinces and border fronts.

The source declared that coalition’s mercenaries committed six breaches by creation of combat fortifications in east of Al-Harz and in Siraj farm of Al-Jabalia area in Tuhayta district and in north and south of Hays district in Hodeida and in eastern Nahouqa area of Al-Sauh in Najran.

The source pointed out that three breaches included air strikes of coalition’s warplanes attacked citizens’ homes and army’s sites in Al-Zeelah area of Murais district in Dhalea.

He also confirmed that 32 violations by artillery shelling were recorded at the army’s sites in Marib, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida and border fronts.

The source mentioned that an artillery bombardment attacked the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi and Malaa areas of Marib, Haradh, Bani Hassan and Hairan areas of Hajjah, Al-Malaheedh, Al-Madafin and Munabeh districts of Saada.

The source pointed out that an artillery shelling targeted sites of the Yemeni army in north and east of Hays district in Hodeida, Maqbna area of Taiz, Al-Amood area of Wadi Jara, Al-Kaab, Al-Kamb Al-Qadim and Jabal Twailq areas of Jizan border province and in Al-Sakhra area of Asir region.

In addition, the source declared that 90 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida, Dhalea and border fronts.
