Sanaa renews its demand for Al-Aradah to fulfill challenge he announced regarding electricity
SANAA, Aug. 14 (YPA) – The Sanaa government renewed on Sunday its call on the pro-coalition authorities in Marib province to fulfill their commitment to deliver electricity to Sanaa and the areas under the control of the Supreme Political Council.
In a tweet on Twitter platform, Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Al-Ezzi revealed that 20 days have passed since Sanaa accepted the challenge announced by the member of the Riyadh-formed Presidential Council and the governor of Marib loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, Sultan Al-Aradah, to “connect electricity from Marib gas plant to the capital, Sanaa, during an interview with the BBC channel in late June.
Al-Ezzi said: “On this occasion, we challenge him to start implementing the challenge that he announced and we accepted.”
He affirmed Sanaa’s full readiness to coordinate implementation steps for the return of electricity, as this is a natural right for the residents of the capital, Sanaa, and the rest of the regions, and it is not permissible to continue monopolizing it by the “Brotherhood” authority in Marib.

It is worth noting that the leaders loyal to the coalition usually make statements that they do not have the authority to implement, since Riyadh and Abu Dhabi are the ones who control the decisions.
