STC reveals progress of upcoming battle with Islah fighters

SHABWA, Aug. 10 (YPA) – Member of the Presidency of the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council, Nasser Al-Khubaji, revealed on Wednesday the upcoming battle after the confrontations in Shabwa province.

Al-Khubaji said on Twitter that the victories made in Shabwa would not stop at this point, but would continue beyond that,” referring to Wadi Hadramout districts.

This came after the UAE STC militia took control of the Saudi-backed Islah camps in the city of Ataq and its surroundings, during the past hours, amid widespread interference from the UAE warplanes.

The STC intends to remove the militants of the First Military Region, loyal to the leader of the Islah party, from all districts of Wadi Hadramout, which have been witnessing military tensions since the past months.
