Latest developments in Yemen, Palestine discusses in Damascus

 DAMASCUS, Aug. 08 (YPA) – The Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen in Damascus, Abdullah Sabri, on Monday discussed with the Secretary-General of the Global Gathering to Support the Choice of Resistance, Dr. Yahya Ghaddar, the latest developments in Yemen and Palestine.

The meeting dealt with the prospects of the existing armistice in addition to the escalation of the Zionist enemy on the Gaza Strip.

In the meeting, Sabri praised the role played by the Global Gathering to Support the Choice of Resistance in the context of raising awareness of resistance to the American-Zionist project in the region and mobilizing international solidarity for the Palestinian cause and the just causes of the nation.

For his part, Dr. Yahya Ghaddar renewed the Gathering’s solidarity with Yemen in facing the siege and the aggressive war.

Ghaddar praised the legendary steadfastness of the Yemeni people, the victories of the army and the popular committees, and the wisdom of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council.

He said, “The nation relies a lot on Yemen’s role in the equations of the conflict with the Zionist entity and confronting the forces of hegemony and global arrogance.”
