Gold prices continue to rise in Yemen markets

SANAA, Jul. 30 (YPA) – Gold prices witnessed on Saturday a rise in the Yemeni goldsmiths markets, especially in the southern provinces, as the price of the gold pound in Aden province reached 485,000 riyals.

The last update of prices in the goldsmith shops in the capital Sanaa, according to the “Yemen Economist” website, is as to follow:-
– Price of one gram of Gold 24 karat: Purchase = 32,000 Yemeni Riyal (YER), Sale = 34,000 YER.
– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase =28,200 YER, Sale = 30,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 227,000 YER, Sale = 232,000 YER.
The updated gold prices in the goldsmith shops in Aden are as to follow:-
– Price of one gram of Gold 24 karat: Purchase = 65,000 Yemeni Riyal (YER), Sale = 71,000 YER
– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase = 58,000 YER, Sale = 63,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 475,000 YER, Sale = 485,000 YER.
