Iran arrests Swedish woman on charges of spying for Mossad
SANAA, July. 30 (YPA) – The Iranian security forces arrested on Saturday a Swedish woman on charges of spying for the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad.
“The ministry’s counterintelligence unit managed to arrest a Swedish spy,” the Iranian Ministry of Security and Intelligence said in a statement, warning Sweden against “continuing its proxy spying policies for the benefit of the Zionist entity and supporting criminal terrorists by offering them refuge on its soil,” according to IRNA agency.
The statement added, “The accused woman was making trips and organizing contacts in different cities of Iran with European and non-European suspicious elements.”
“The accused was arrested by order of the judicial authorities after being intended to leave Iran,” it added. The arrested has a history of traveling to occupied Palestine before he traveled to Iran.
