President Al-Mashat stresses on banning random construction in agricultural areas

SANAA, Jul. 23 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Saturday stressed the importance of preserving the agricultural areas and banning random construction in them.

During his meeting with Head of the General Authority for Lands, Survey and Urban Planning, Dr. Hashim Al-Shami, President Al-Mashat also stressed the need to launching plans for all provinces to ensure the non-proliferation of slums in the agricultural lands.

He also called for overcoming difficulties and facilitating measures for those wishing to invest in the agricultural sector, in a way that ensures achieving self-sufficiency.

President Al-Mashat emphasized that the Authority’s procedures should be in accordance with the law and order and fair to the people, and preserving the state’s lands.
